Requirements and Criteria

Those who plan to audition should come prepared with a minute-long "in-character" monologue as the character they wish to play. Stephanie Chateau from Concept Galaxy will be hosting the auditions, and will be looking for cosplayers that fit into the categories listed below.

Naughty, Wicked, and V.I.L.E. Villains

Concept Galaxy is looking for talented cosplayers to portray their favorite anime or video game villain. Those who are chosen to participate in the production will act out the part of delinquents plotting to commit a heinous crime at Zenkaikon 2009.

Good Guys, Champions of Justice, and A.C.M.E. Agents

Concept Galaxy is looking for talented cosplayers to portray characters that fight for the ideals of truth and justice. Those who are chosen to participate in the production play the part of heroes attempting to stop the villains from succeeding in their plot.

Zenkaikon Host Announcer

Concept Galaxy is looking for talented cosplayers who enjoy making their own original costume designs. They are seeking a host or hostess to represent Zenkaikon and serve as its "announcer" for events that will happen throughout the weekend. The character should compliment "Zenkai-chan" – the official Zenkaikon mascot who appears on all of the convention's promotional material. The mascot theme for Zenkaikon 2009 is steampunk.

This is a very special role where the person cast acts as the game master and host of the event. This character role calls for a charasmatic leader figuire who is good with interacting with people "in character" for long periods of time and can also keep track of score cards of the players participating in the event.

AUDITION UPDATE FOR REALMSCON 2009 - "Multiverse Mayhem!"

This year Realmscon attendees will be taken on a wacky trip through a MULTIVERSE of different fantasy REALMS when an evil megolomaniac gets ahold of a time traveling device that helps him distort the fabric of time and space.

This years theme for Realmscon allows us to consider ALL TYPES of cosplayers from any fandom of any genre in the chic-geek sub-culture. We are particularly interested in characters that bring feelings of nostaligia, or characters that can time travel, travel different dimensions, sub-space, or alternate realities ect. Roles available are limited so get in touch with us ASAP via the Concept Galaxy myspace, facebook, livejournal feed or Concept Galaxy website or somebody else might steal your chance to steal the show this year!

AUDITION UPDATE FOR EXP. CON 2009 - "The Wright Investigation"

Although the majority of roles for "Anime Night Live" 2009 will be invitation only there will be a new event on Friday night of EXP. Con 2009 called "The Wright Investigation" that we will be auditioning for so that new talent can be considered that would like to participate in a Concept Galaxy at our most successful venue for entertainment to date. Concept Galaxy Announces: Zenkaikon Auditions!

Are you a cosplayer in King of Prussia, PA. or it's surrounding areas? Then we want you! Concept Galaxy will be putting on an interactive production for Zenkaikon 2009 in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. We will be auditioning for cosplay talent around the area August 15th, 2009 at the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel. Hosting the auditions will be Concept Galaxy producer and show director Stephanie Chateau. We will be looking for the following types of cosplayers for our show.


1. Naughty, Wicked, and V.I.L.E. Villains!

We're looking for talented cosplayers who also love to act in character to portray their favorite anime or video game villain for our production. This can be any villainous character you want from any anime or video game you can think of. Make sure to have about apx. a minute long monolouge prepared of yourself "in character" as the villain you are auditioning to play.

2. Good Guys, Champions of Justice, and ACME Agents!

Do you have a character you like to portray that fights for the ideals of truth and justice... or just does whatever it takes to stop all the "bad guys" out there in the world in their tracks? If so we might be able to use you to fight for the side of justice and to help stop a certain set of delinquints from commiting a heinous crime at Zenkaikon! Come prepared with apx. a minute long monolouge prepared of yourself "in character" as the hero you are auditioning to play.

3. Zenkaikon Host/Announcer Mascot

This is where cosplayers who love to make their own original costume designs and characters can shine. We are looking for the perfect host or hostess to represent Zenkaikon and serve as it's "announcer" for events that will happen throughout the weekend. You will want your character to compliment "Zenkaichan" which is the mascot that appears on all of Zenkaikon's promotional material. You will also want to have prepared a one minute monolouge of yourself acting "in character" as your Host/Announcer mascot creation.

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates here. We have been primarily updating via the Concept Galaxy website, myspace, and through "Izzy Estella" on facebook. Now that we are fleshing out the details of dates and locations for possible filming dates or auditions for future productions it's time to pick things back up here on LJ as well so that those of you who prefer to keep track of "the buzz" of the con circuit through LJ can do so with ease.
